HISTORY
CRÉATEUR was created in 2020 through the realization of the 2020 shut down, beginning the redefinition of local créativity.
CRÉATEUR was founded from a simple belief: creative work deserves professional respect.
What began as an independent publication set out to document and celebrate the people redefining local creativity. From the beginning, the vision extended beyond design–it was about creating meaningful opportunities for creatives while elevating the standard by which creative work is valued.

an idea takes shape

CRÉATEUR released its inaugural publication, introducing a curated editorial platform dedicated to highlighting emerging and established creatives across Seattle.
Rather than chasing volume, each issue prioritized thoughtful storytelling, intentional design, and meaningful representation of the creative community.

Over the following years, CRÉATEUR published twelve original issues, documenting painters, writers, photographers, illustrators, collage artists, muralists, makers, and other creatives helping shape the city’s cultural identity.
These publications became more than magazines–they formed an archive of a creative moment in Seattle and established the editorial foundation for everything that would follow.

expanding expertise
While CRÉATEUR continued to evolve, years spent leading branding and creative direction across luxury, beauty, wellness, hospitality, and creative industries expanded the organization’s perspective.
This period deepened expertise in strategy, brand management, creative direction, campaigns, editorial design, photography, consumer psychology, experiential design, and business development.
These experiences ultimately reshaped what CRÉATEUR could become.
As the publication matured, a broader opportunity became increasingly clear.
The challenge facing creatives wasn’t a lack of talent or ambition–it was the absence of connected systems that supported sustainable creative careers.
Publishing stories was meaningful.
Creating opportunity would be transformational.
